Any ideas which games might be similar? Looking for something VERY simple to play, for two teenage girls that occasionally like to kick their old man off COD and take over the PS4!
Other game type recommendations welcome but simplicity is key...and age appropriate (12&14)!

Whichever version of Crash Team Racing is on the PS4 should do the trick - it was basically a PS rip off of Mario Kart back in the day and was a very good one too.

Used to love 8-player MicroMachines on the PS One after a night on the sauce while at uni.

Beat me to it. We've been playing it this week on the Xbox, it's pretty much as close to MK* as they could be without being sued.
Multiplayer splitscreen is falling out of favour but Bomberman is a reliable staple. Most of the Lego games also.
(* - That's Mario Kart, not Mortal Kombat or Milton Keynes. Confusing the latter two is an easy mistake to make.)
Oh, and Bust-a-Move / Puzzle Bobble.

Already mentioned but Sonic All-stars is probably the best of the MK clones if it's available on the PS4.

I have Nitro Fuelled and they like that but I'm crap at it. My memory of Mario Kart was of utter simplicity rather than rocket boosters and bombs everywhere!
