My nephew has been stuck in the Philippines since lockdown.
They can fly home via Seoul on Saturday. Are there any restrictions on UK people going to Seoul. F.O just seems to say leave asap.
He is currently on a nice island living cheaply. To get to manilla is a 10 hour ferry and 5 hour coach journey. Obviously they don't want to get to manilla and get stranded as hotels are few and costly.
You should probably ask the foreign office, we can't even decide what's a reasonable distance to ride

Try the foreign office, the nearest embassy or consulate to where you nephew is. Who ever is arranging the flight and the British Embassy in Korea (probably in Seoul).
