Australasia. Pricey but very nice especially if you have lots of "small plates".

Find a chippy or a kebab shop, then have a snog round the back of the Arndale; recreate the magic!

Nutters? It's a bit of a hike, but it is excellent.

Northcote Manor another possibility; has accommodation too.

The Market Restaurant. The food is fantastic, and it's just a great cosy little venue for a meal for such an occasion.

Very true. Best sticking to the east side of Manchester. Make it 22.

Ohh Hope Street. Went to Host last Saturday. Nice food but could have had some chips on the way home.

You can't even see Liverpool from here.

...you can stay the night, and give her a [s]proper seeing to [/s]wonderful time.

only ever been to Liverpool once & that was to get a passport (to escape)

In the end we went on a friends suggestion to the Armenian Taverna.
Great food & a lovely little place.
