Brilliant stand up, fantastic in the Inbetweeners, but Man Down was pretty bad. Standard sitcom fare of which we need no more. Shame as it was Rik's last TV appearance.
'Cuckoo', the first series is recommended if you really want Greg Davies in a sitcom.

Not sure what standard sitcoms you're watching, but my kids aren't allowed to Man Down because it can be very, very rude.
First series was fairly normal, if a little off the wall, but it certainly headed away from that as it progressed to some proper craziness.
Anyone watched the series called Nighty Night from a few years back?

See, now that is NOT standard sitcom fare! That's the sort of thing we need more of. Weird, different, dark and bloody funny.
I like man Down a lot. Mrs Wachowchow turned me on to it half way through the first series.
Proper nutty humour, Shakira who runs the café has some great lines.
Roisin Conaty makes it for me. Love her character. Oh, and Mrs McClusky as mum!
