How much £11 for two? £15 for three? FFS how much! They don't last very long too as I keep getting hole in my tail bone. Dammit!

So I have started thinking about wearing swimming trunks instead or those Lycra gym thigh ... ain't not going commando that's simply cheap.

What do you think?

Where can you find some that are say under £10 for pack of 3 that will last a while?

😡

edit: also WTF do they not have chest pocket(s) for fleece? Just one is enough. Can they do that? No they can't ... FFS!

Ok under a tenner for pack of 3 is reasonable but more than that? I know the undercarriage is important but then I don't like being ripped off. 😆

Job done.

Good call! Thank you my good man. The jewels of my undercarriage shall be protected.

keep getting hole in my tail bone.

Excessive friction can cause that.

WTF!? You think more than £3 for a pair of grundies is a rip off? Is this why sweat shops exist!?

I also find that thier 'sporty' stretch microfiber ones are mega comfy on the hill, no chafing.

Fleece with a pocket - Sat here in a Haglofs, mountain equipment one is in my drawer, North Face in bike bag and Craghoppers in paddling bag. All with pocket, all various takes on the thin fleece thing.

Chewkw, did you try googling 'fleece jackets with chest pocket', because I've just found at least eight with pockets, including Nike, Marmot, Berghaus, Columbia, Craghoppers, TNF, Helicon, Patagonia...
Lots out there, starting from around £15.
Your Google-fu, sadly lacking, is.

I get cotton trunks from India about 40/50p a pair, so comfortable. Like having your balls cupped by an Asian salesmen in a silk suit. As demonstrated by the packaging on the box I got from my daughter who has just been over for a couple of weeks.

14 pairs?
Are you a test pilot for Movicol?
🙂

M&S. Black (forgiving in so many ways) with the blue stripe on the waistband.
They lift, but they do not separate.
Accept no substitute.

£15 for 3 expensive?

Try getting one decent pair for your missus for double that. Lets not even discuss bras(moreso when they need resized every six months).

You don't know you're born.

Woohoo ... went to Debenhams bought two Craghoppers micro fleece with top pocket at £15 each (same colour) and a puffy vest whatever also at half price. The sold out all the Craghoppers medium weight fleece ... dammit. The branded stuff like TNF, Patagonia, Berghaus etc are much more expensive by comparison.

I usually set my budget at not more than £15 for micro fleece and £35 for mid weight fleece.

Need to go to John Lewis to see what I can find tomorrow ...

Will have a look at M&S sporty stretch microfiber ones.

In the meantime pants hunting continues ... 😆

The hole on all my boxers or my tail bone? For the latter you just have to imagine evolution has not caught up with me quick enough. 😆

Without the Next sale, my NHS pant buffet would be blown in a few months....

Ah, wasn't sure what sort of fleece you were after, you didn't specify, but I'm glad the Craghoppers ones worked out.
Always worth hunting around the cheaper outdoor places to see what's going into their sales.

Is that a good thing (developed abs to distract from your pants) or a bad thing (nobody gives a s*** any more)?

For me it's definitely the latter, hence my collection of ragged M&S pants

How much £11 for two? £15 for three? FFS how much!

Am I the only one thinking that's really cheap? I paid £30 for 3 in Animal recently. They seem to last a couple of years. I saw a three pack of Ted Bakers boxers for £35 and thought that was good value.

I did try some cheap boxers once. Based on the front opening, I can only assume they were designed by a woman. It was more like basket weaving than going for a wee!

Worse than that!

I had 'the snip' a couple of weeks ago, it's shit, but not the end of the world but that's an aside - the Doc insisted I wore not one, but two pairs of old-school y-fronts post op to cradle my spuds, of course I forgot until I was reading the crib sheet on the way to the surgery - had to stop in M&S on the way - £17 for 5 pairs of horrible old man pants - wore them once, they were worse than having a needle jabbed in your bollocks.

Well the OH got fed up of certain parts of my body being visible through my well worn M&S shreddies which was the trigger for me venturing to said supermarkets for cheaper replacements so it would appear we are on the same track 🙁
