[Closed] Mamchester Velodrome Tomorrow

Went last year, great days racing and only 5 quid. i think all the uk stars are there this year. you can take pics, but if standing on the banking you need a strap on your camera or they will stop you taking pics.
the place was half empty last year so could sit where ever or stand on banking.

Looking forward to it, although our tickets haven't turned up yet!

Any excuse for photos. 😀

Quick tip for photos: Indoor velodromes might have poor light so I go for slow shutter speeds and pan to get more idea of movement.

We've just got back from there tonight.

Nice place, friendly and professional staff, can't fault it. Can't see as photography would be an issue when they've got professional photographers using flash photography in the riders' faces at the finish line.

It was maybe a quarter full tonight; sold out tomorrow though.

It's very dark in a velodrome, take a flash and your fastest lens.
