has anyone done this? I am tired of bikes and mowers being washed don the drive and then having to wash the drive.
I'm thinking of digging a fair size pit maybe 18 inches deep then covering it with timber , set out a bit like a cattle grid. Any tips? (other than be prepared to lift the timber when the kids discover throwing things down there! I expect I'll want to clean it out every couple of years.
