My Dad built a wooden-kit sailing dingy is there living room when I was younger - they had to take out a window to get it out...
my old man built a light aircraft in his garage, then a new house err then a new garage!
What about building a lamborghini in your basement, then hiring a digger to get it out?

This guy did a really impressive conversion from ambulance to motorhome, including a complete caravan panel grafted onto the back.
He finished that so decided to build a Widebeam canal boat. I've not looked for a while but seems he is now prepping it to go cruising in Europe.
Just got lost watching youtube after that plane link up there and came across this.
