Can't see any UK sellers. Make my own? I normally chalk my logs out with a stick I cut at the correct length. These seem like a no hassle alternative.

Nothing to add except two years on I can't find one either. I've got a decent magnet with a hole in it, will try to cobble something together.

Funny how pretty much anything I search for there's an STW link in the top 20. 🙂

I've zip-tied a whippy stick to the body of the saw before. I'm pretty used to the size I need now, do I don't bother any more.

I ended up using a telescopic tool that has a very strong magnet on the end for retrieving lost items in the automotive industry. Pull out to desired length and away you go. I thought it would vibrate off, but no, works a treat and still using it.

Not the exact same but similar.

If you're searching with Google, that's because Google knows you use STW.
