Passing a card through a glass window with a Orangutan on the other side?

that's magic
Fools. The monkey is the magician. THe guy on the outside is the stooge.

Eh?
Linky no magicky?
Linky no magicky?
I like that.
Not a lot, though, obviously.
What the??
Well I think you can see the reflection of the card being palmed as he takes his hand away from the glass, so that's half the magic solved right?
Glad I came back! That's brilliant. Love the orang's reaction 😀
I've seen Paul Zenon do similar, but he removed tax discs from cars.

Well that’s me fully enlightened now
Card is on the inside all along. Magician removes his card and whatever is on the glass covering the inside card.
turn camera off, insert card, turn camera on, edit video with computery jiggery pokery blendy stuff.
When he puts the card on the glass it's at an angle and when he takes his hand off the card on the other side is straight. He also searches through the pack for a particular card rather than just picking any. So it must already be on the other side but maybe has reflective backing on that makes it disappear in certain light.
These attempted *Spoilers* are actually quite shit, if you don't mind me saying.

On the contrary, I enjoyed this comment.
The real answer is of course that it was actual magic, and having once met Paul Daniels' wife I can't help but feel that I am an authority on the subject.
having once met Paul Daniels’ wife
.... or his sister in law?
It’s difficult to say with any real certainty.
So this means the Orangutan was clearly in on it!

I have met Paul Daniels twice. I have shook his hand. I have smiled* at Debbie McGee. She smiled back.

A useful clue is that camera is locked off on a tripod rather than hand held. Its not so much a camera trick as an editing/ compositing trick - any part of the frame could have been filmed at different times - the magicians performance, the monkeys' reaction, the card being there/not being there may have happened in any order. Working with a static camera you start out with a 'plate shot' - the environment without any of the protagonists in it. For the purpose of the trick the card can be there throughout the performance you just paint it out with a version of the scene with the card absent.
Have we noticed that the card changes suit between being pick off the window and being sniffed? {edit - actually maybe not - it looks like it changes from hearts to spades but I think thats just a bit so shadow play}
I like David best.

I once earn £5 by washing his Rolls Royce (also not a euphemism). He used to live near me, his house was on the edge of Denham aerodrome. His car had the number plate Magic1 or Mag1c or something magical.
If you scroll through the clip on youtube, the camera appears to have some slight "handheld" shake (maybe simulated like some other faked videos) right up until the card appears on the other side of the glass, and then the camera appears completely static. He also spends quite some time getting his arms in that weird position. All of this seems suspicious to me.
Have a look at Captain Disillusion on youtube .. He hasn't dealt with this specific one (as far as I know), but he'll educate you on what to look out for in terms of camera movement/lack of movement and whats practical/possible using CGI.
Personally I'm a sucker for a good magic trick but using camera trickery goes too far. The absence of physical effects and skill means it's the opposite of what makes magic 'magic'.
