And I am now quite disturbed.

Was sorting out the attic last night whilst Mrs Danny was on a night shift which meant tackling the mountains of CD's up there.

She has a really scary number of R Kelly albums...

Cheers

It's when you kind the midget in you closet that you really have to worry. Give the poor little fella a beer and some peanuts.

I don't see nothing wrong, with a little bit of [s]bump and grind[/s] R. Kelly. The man's a genius.

That sort of soul brings me out in rashes. Bad memories of trying to conform as a 17 year old in nightlubs.

Cheers

I found out that my wife had been to a Robbie Williams concert. She doesn't even like Robbie Williams - or so she says...

They must be in the attic because she regrets buying them.

If only she could turn, turn back the hands of time...

Can't help but wonder how you could actually be married to someone without knowing what music they are into!
What else don't you know sbout them...?

My wife went to a Deacon Blue concert when younger. She had the decency to tell me before we got married giving me the chance to opt out. It was a close run decision.

It could have been worse than that (alleged) nonce R Kelly. It could have been Burzum or something.

@monogramman - the attic is where my hi fi is set up. She had had the cheek to put all her cd's with mine.

I have now segregated them so they cannot pollute my music collection.

@dezb - when I met her she was in to breaks, drum and bass etc so was tolerable. She kept the R Kelly thing quiet!

One album here or there is fine (I have Tiffany's album kicking around somewhere) but she's got 15 or so R Kelly albums. I didn't know he had released so many...

I once worked with a Ronny Arkle.
I don't think he released any albums, but he did work for the local councils out of hours drain clearing team for many years.

Having a rummage through a girlfriends record collection before making any rash moves was the done thing in my day. When I discovered The Wife had a copy of Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, I thought "mmmmm, she's a keeper"

Cheers.

Dismissing entire genres of music is a bit narrow-minded no? Lots of genres that aren't my cup of tea but I wouldn't describe them as tripe.

just makes you sound like someone's clueless old dad.
Wouldn't say RKelly's my cup'o'r'n'b, but I know there's a couple of his tracks that I'd turn up if they came on the radio.

R Kelly is a geheenius (maybe), that coming out of the closet "Hip Hopera" had me and my mates in stitches.

That's a brilliant tune - some amusingly daft lyrics though.
