Stumbled across this site - looks way too good to be true. From what I can tell, you buy credits that then let you bid on stuff for sale and hopefully buy at silly silly prices. Stuff is all new and from clearance, bankrupty etc.

Any one used it?
For real, or a scam based in sub Saharan Africa?

Madbid have been featured in articles on ....The Guardian

Well, yes they have

Somewhere in the UK a person going by the name of "minga60" must be feeling gutted. He recently spent more than £200 trying to win a 32" LG flatscreen TV at penny auction website Madbid.com, only to see a rival bidder steal in and win it at the last second.

Look at the business model- if you bid and lose they keep your credit. They 'sell' a TV for 200 quid to one bidder, which means all the bids up to that price have made them 2000 quid. They don't have to run a second scam (eg. Winning 'bidder' being staff) to make a fortune out of the gullible.
