I'm looking for a fully padded dog bed that is easily machine washable i.e. the outer covers can be fully removed away from the base and sides and chucked in the washer.
We have one that doesn't do this and doesn't was properly as its too bulky in the washing machine, we also have a hard plastic bed with blankets / duvets but its too big and awkward to move about easily.
The Joyelf one looks good but our dog is a little big for the small and the medium is bigger than necessary. How small a bed can I get away with? The dog in question is 22" nose to base of tail.

We've got a couple that'll do what you want; one has a tag on it that says 'GB Handmade Pet Beds' and on has a tag on it that says 'Wainwright', so some googling of those should get you something.
Kirkland Signature Square Tufted Bed, according to the label on ours. Couple of years old and washed a few times, holding up well. I think they do several sizes, from Costco.
