I’m considering a Laptop again and seeing as we’re well down the Apple road might get a Mac Book
Mostly used these days for browsing and playing about with photos, the majority of which are taken on iPhones these days.
My main concern with switching is that my current computer has 3 hard drives in it, one running windows / system and then 2 other SSDS which have mine and my wife’s files on. Both these drives are synced with One Drive.
I can put the 2 SSDS in enclosures and presumably plug them in to a Mac Book via USB? Would I still be able to sync them with One Drive like I do now, or I’m happy to switch to iCloud Drive and use that instead. How will it cope when the drives are unplugged? Will it get upset and keep throwing up warnings about the drives missing or…?
Also a Mac Book Air with 8gb RAM from the refurb store will do more than I ever need yes? And last for a good few years.
Will my current HDMI monitor plug in to display port with an adapter?
There might be more questions.
Cheers
