I need to do a dashboard for work, publisher on the work PC laptop is rubbish, Pages does everything i need to except draw a semicircle.

Is there a simplish way of doing this, or shall I just draw a big circle and obscure the bottom half with an empty text box?

Cheers

Sounds like a plan. It's easy to do in Powerpoint or Word using the cord symbol.

You need to use the Bezier curves tool which is at the bottom of the 'shapes' drop down menu.

To get it spot on you also need to drag in guides from the top and bottom ruler bars to get a centre line, base, left and right measurements correct.

Search for 'adding a custom shape' and 'Using Alignment Guides' in the help pages.

You need a blank 'Page Layout' page rather than a 'Word Processing' page to see the left hand ruler.

just make a rectangle the colour of that behind it and use that to obscure the lower half
