We have a Mac with cordless mouse and keyboard.
I've turned the Bluetooth off and obviously due to lack of Bluetooth we can't turn it back on.
How do we do it with no way of communicating with the screen?
There will be a a way to navigate the OS via keyboard but I'm windows so I'd have to Google how to do it on a Mac.
Edit... Oops just realised your keyboard is wireless too..
Or plug a USB mouse into it. Could you pinch one from work or something if you can't borrow one.
Borrow a cheap wired keyboard and mouse? Or buy a cheapo set if you can't borrow one.

Long-press the power button on the iMac to force a halt, and then restart it. That should trigger an assistant that will allow a wireless keyboard and mouse to connect, when no keyboard and mouse is detected.
Some people are reporting that it doesn't work, but worth a try?
I just replaced my laptop with a Mac mini and bought a cheap wired mouse for exactly this situation! Used it once so far (not counting set up) when my Logitech BT mouse decided not to communicate any more.
I've plugged the keyboard in and we can navigate the screen but can't get up to the Bluetooth button.
Of you have keyboard is this any help?

Too late 🙂 but...
Command + Spacebar to open Spotlight search.
Type in Bluetooth
Scroll down and select Bluetooth File Exchange.
You will get a prompt than Bluetooth is off. Click on TUrn Bluetooth On.

I pressed space bar and command to ask Siri to turn it on. It only bloody worked.
