Hopefully heading up to Scotland for some riding for two or three nights next week and looking for some recommendations for campsites in the Mabie or Dalbeattie area. Ideally somewhere with a pub in walking distance, showers and parking next to the tent. Even better if either of the centres are within pedalling distance.

Nice wee spot, bang on the doorstep of Dalbeattie trails and a short ride up to the town itself. Kippford is about 10 mins ride over the road and has a couple of nice pubs.
Mabie's about half an hour's drive along the (really rather pretty) Solway Coast.

You can easily pick up the red halfway round from the camp site.... and that puts a refreshment stop part way round at the bar at Mabie Hotel. Although double check it's still a bar open to all. They seem to do a lot of weddings nowadays

There's camping at sandyhills bay, facilities were spotless when I stayed and you can park next to your tent. Think there was a pub nearby but never went.
Riding for Dalbeattie starts about a mile or so up the road at Colvend where you can ride into the forest on a minor road that starts just behind the village shop and eventually joins the blue/red trails.
If Sandyhills, there's Barend holiday park just up the hill which has a decent wee bar on site.
The food there is good too.
