Driving down from Peterborough to Guildford this Friday morning, and just wondering what the M25 will be like! I know it's a crystal ball question......but how does it pan out, on average?
m25 any time beween 7 and 10 i normally add 30-45 minutes onto what time my satnav/google maps say it will take. If you have to be there at a certain time best to add an hour. it'll be really slow around m1 junction too.
The good news is that Friday morning is the best of the weekday mornings to hit the M25.

Use google maps traffic thing and change the settings from "live traffic" to "Friday morning" and set the time to 8am. That will show you what conditions are typically like.
