Any londoners on here? I need to get to Greenwich area from the M1. Satnav says through London but would the M25/A2 be quicker? Travelling tomorrow afternoon. Train not an option unfortunately.

Na Na Na Na wow thats one huge loop.

M1 Then M25 Turn off East to the M11 stay on and then follow A406 East
but you don't go onto the A406 which will be on your right.

Stay left of A406 and
This will lead you to the Redbridge Roundabout.
Take the Third exit to A12 East.
This will take you past the Olympic site.

Stay on the A12 and this will take you through the Blackwall Tunnel.
once through the tunnel take the first exit marked Greenwich.

On a weekend morning or weekday evening I'd go into London, on all other times I'd do M25 (clockwise)

What Grantway sez. Going via QE2 bridge is madness I tell you, utter utter madness!

Plus coming in on the B'wall tunnel Norvern Approach gives you the options of the Rotherhithe Tunnel or even the Woolwich Ferry, if the B'Wall is clogged for whatever reason. Best to tune into a local radio station to get traffic updates as things can change very quickly.

Remember to wave and toot when you're going past my house!

If you toot at exactly this spot, then I may hear you. 🙂
