Thought that the members of LuxuryWatchTrackWorld might like to see this:

Watch the video.
Made in Detroit. A great story and rather nice watches... I only know about them as they're also making bikes in the USA too (frames made by Waterford) and designed by Sky who used to do all the cool stuff when she was at Bianchi...

That is lovely...... and, in the greater scheme (of watch) things, not at all expensive...
Wedding Anniversary coming up on Monday.
Wifey looking for ideas for gifts.... if only I could get away with it.....!

Bah. What you want is one of these!

A look through the reviews is worthwhile!

I have to say, as someone who loves watches, the Shinola leaves me a bit 'meh'. It's nice, but, I dunno, meh.

But then personal taste is a wonderful thing and that's the point, innit?

I love that. Cool that it says 'Made in Detroit', even cooler the lightning bolt.

If it wasn't for the recent Stowa and G-Shock purchases, I might have ordered one.

Steve Martin (in The Jerk) now knows how to differentiate Shinola

I really like the understated styling with a retro feel.
Anything else like that about for the same money or a bit less?

My wanted list is increasing by the day with all these watch threads.

About the same price, but the Shinola did remind me of this...

I've got me one of those Werner flying watches. Ok for the money.

EDIT:
Oh, I see that Werners have upped their prices a bit, I was paying Circa £100.

Today I'm wearing the Skagen. Titanium case and bracelet, Blue face, Arabic numerals.

Just heard from my pal at Shinola (who's just bought a watch at full price incidentally... no deals, even for employees...) that they'll be sold out of watches by tomorrow afternoon probably, so don't delay if you want one 🙂

Pah - I've heard back.
No way to order if not a US resident, and they won't yet post to Blighty...

I imagine Mr Walken might charge so much as to make the watch unobtainable for the average MTB, forum Doc....

Ask Hora what he can do for a fiver.

What sort of cost is hopshopgo?
All a bit of an effort, but I do really like the style.
Maybe one to pick up s/h on eBay.
