Any recommendations for really good quality socks; nice feel even after many washes etc? I'm just a pringle chap myself, but would like to get some nice ones for Pops as socking filler.

Requirements: Navy blue, 100% cotton.

Any experience? Cost really not relevant, as long as not insultingly expensive.

Ta

For a long lasting sock the best I've had are Finisterre ones, they have been brilliant, lasted more than a year, and I abuse my socks.

For quality, but not longevity, Corgi and Duchamp are really good.

For something a bit different try MeUndies, decent socks, and subscribable. My current socks and grots are supplied by them. Highly recommended.

EDIT - just seen the Navy Blue/Cotton thing. So my post of no help whatsoever.

How expensive does a sock have to be before it insults you?

I've been given Cordings socks a couple of times and they're lovely. Silly money (IMO) but I love wearing them 🙂

Surely you should have grown out of that by now.

CFH Senior wears and swears by Cordings.

I get mine from a place in Stockbridge, woollen though.

Some good choices thanks; those Cordings ones will fit the 'navy' bill, with a bit of heel/toe jazz. Like them myself!

The cotton was probably ill thought requirement; I was trying to avoid those mixed with modern materials (he dunny like them).

Cheers again.

I'll have a pair myself; nothing kicks off a good day like a new pair of socks 🙂

£145 per sock.

I have to admit, that is pretty insulting.

Found a discount code for 15% off too, which softens the blow for £40 for 3 socks!

This place is great. Ask a question > go back to work > check post > answer is there.

Cheeers 🙂

EDIT: WOOOAH, £7 postage???

FAIL. 3 'pairs' of socks 🙂

I've actually stopped short of clicking 'complete checkout' because £7 postage is just naughty....and bordering on the insulting I referred to in OP.

£13 per sock? Ok. They're probably nice. £7 to post them? You robbing *******!
