Is it worth it with to get one with the current fuel prices? i haven't got a van yet but what type of van would it work best on? and how does it affect performance? my mate has a range rover with an lpg conversion and it needs aid from petrol to get up the hills but that is a v8 so that could have something to do with it?

Cheers tom

An LPG conversion should only be marginally less powerful than petrol, so if it struggles up hills then something isn't right.

You would need a petrol van, which will have you stumped as they are pretty rare assuming you are thinking of something relatively modern. Plus, the payback period for the up front costs is normally a few years. You'd probably be better researching which vans/engines are good for running on veg oil and go for that, much cheaper even if you start messing with second tanks and a oil pre-heater.
