21 days isn't long enough to get a decent amount of pension contributions.

So the DUP waits 50 years for a leadership election then two come along at once?

Sell your soul to the devil (Tories) and sooner or later you pay the price. Add in Brexit...

The LibDems are a perfect example and they are angelic in comparison to the DUP. Hell, they were basically "guilty" simply by association rather than deed.

It would be delightful to watch the DUP pull itself apart over Brexit apart from the huge and real world toll it could cost.😟

Likewise with the Tories. The problem is, with the dire state of the electorate, it could be replaced with something even worse and the prats would vote for it.

I'll tip my hat to the new constitution
Take a bow for the new revolution
Smile and grin at the change all around
Pick up my guitar and play
Just like yesterday
Then I'll get on my knees and pray
We don't get fooled again

The DUP imploding, the fun and games with the NI protocol with Boris getting ready to wave two fingers at the EU and tear it up and counting down to the marching season

I’m sure it’ll all be fine

Rafael Behr absolutely nails Johnson’s attitude to NI in this article

British Politics is still drunk on Brexit spirit and Boris Johnson won’t call time

Johnson’s calculation doesn’t prioritise peace in Northern Ireland. If it did, he would spend time telling the Unionist community that customs checks at Irish Sea ports were an administrative fact of life after Brexit but not a precursor to severance from the UK. He would have applied some effort to rebutting the most paranoid, sectarian interpretations of the protocol. Instead he has gamed and inflamed the grievance in the belief that the threat of conflagration puts pressure on the EU to make concessions.

If Northern Ireland is on fire, any insistence from Brussels on maximum implementation of rules on sausage imports will look callous and disproportionate. The prime minister expects to avoid meeting his treaty obligations in much the same way that an arsonist expects to avoid paying insurance premiums on the house he is torching.

Clearly a case of natural selection weeding out the poor leaders. Oh, Edwin is down with that. Just a massive bellend royally (I can use royally - he likes a bit of crown, as long as they are not in a relationship with a brown person obvs) screwing up his one chance to shine then.

If things do kick off do you think history will remember it as "The Sausage War?"
