I love anything Tarantino (seen most of them), zombie-esque, and gangster.
Can you recommend me something?
Also, what are your thoughts on the "Grindhouse" type genre?
Debbie Does Dallas?
Seen it, was crap.
Goodfellas
R-Point was a good film, saw that recently on dvd and enjoyed it.
R-Point looks like it might get a bit freaky, awesome!
Mystic River
Very Bad Things
The Road
saw Mystic River last night. interesting film.
Loved Sean Penn in it, one of his best roles IMHO.
The actress who played his wife in it was good too...very Lady Macbeth.
dead snow- is worth a punt
machete- is silly but fun
If you like grindhouse then you have to watch Hobo With A Shotgun, it's awesome 🙂
+1 for Machete
yes. pretty thoughtful film I thought. Brilliantly acted.
If you liked sin city you will probably like watchmen. No country for old men too. 28 days/weeks later, dawn of the dead, I am legend, all worth watching.
no country for old men is a proper good film
Add dead set to that list too, a tv series, but is in film format in places.
Thanks for your recommendations. So far my "to watch list" is:
Mystic River
Very Bad Things
The Road
R-Point
Goodfellas
dead snow
machete
Hobo With A Shotgun
Watchmen
No country for old men
I am legend
dawn of the dead
dead set (TV)
Keep them coming 🙂
london boulevard, was an okish brit gangster movie.
The walking dead might be worth adding too, it's a zombie tv series. Only one season out so far, with the second coming out soon I think. It's interestingly different, much more attempts at character development then your typical zombie thing.
Love Exposure - Japanese, 4 hours long but fantastic.
Zombieland for sure, just watched it, was great.
Loved Zombieland, Woodie is a legend 🙂
