Hi

Recently moved to the area and I love my cyclocross and mtb - looking for people that fancy meeting for rides out eves and/or weekends. I also roadie occasionally but prefer the great outdoors from the single tracks.

Give me a shout if you’ve got a group or want to form one also.

Fingers crossed, Baggers

I organise regular group gravel/cx/xc rides in the FOD. Usually once a month. Have a group ride this Sunday in the Elan Valley if you fancy it. If you are on facebook, check out ukgravelbikeclub group. That's where I port the ride info.

I recently moved to the area as well, and I'm finding I'm riding alot of xc at the moment, if you fancy a spin one evening, I could show you some of the trails I know.

Hi Emily,
If you fancy some road riding in that area you could check out the audax rides that Mark Rigby organises from Tewkesbury.

Many head West through the Wye Valley and into Wales. There are normally several females either riding together or solo. Although mostly road based there are occasional excursions onto unsurfaced paths such as the stretch between Symonds Yat East and Monmouth.

Also a great way to get know great local cafes. I am having trouble embedding a link so will just put the text below:

Hi all, thanks for replies.

Trailwagger I'm looking you up on facebook, will let you know re this sunday - might be a bit far but does sound interesting.

Blackmountainsrider, sounds good, would one eve taking off from Cannop for ah hour suit? I also know a lot of routes now, but only two of us currently riding together means it would be nice to meet some other mud lovers.

Cletus, many thanks but I'm already in a couple of roadie n audax clubs so thanks for the offer - the 'females' bit made me giggle, I just ride with anyone as long as they're a laugh, been riding for 20yrs so used to very mixed company and looking for 100% off road.

I live in the Forest and am out and am about in it all the time and always looking for people to share it with. I must have done every trail at one time or another, but Staple Edge is my favourite.

I'll have to look out for that one then. Running lovely at the moment isn't it?

It’s definitely the time to beat your PB’s when it’s as dry as this - won’t last long I’m sure!
