Any ideas where I'll find one in North Yorkshire?

Airfix or Warcraft for Zen like concentration.

Spinning for not that.

Breadmaking for the STW feel.

You have a mtb.

Yorkshire is packed with history.

Find all the abandoned settlements (eg iron age) and try and work out the lines of communication, so you'll find lots of traces of ancient tracks.

That's a guess, but it's working for me up here in Scotland.

So what to call your new hobby?

Hike-a-Bike 🙂

I was asking this recently on facebook - decided to give paragliding a go. You can do it somewhere near Settle.

Everytime I go to the SSDT or The Scott I wish I had another trials bike!

However, I should come clean.... A Hobby (of the avian raptor type) has been eluding me. One has been seen around Staveley but I'm ****ed if I can spot it. 😕

Anyone else seen one around?

Edit, Benji, I didn't see your thread! (even though it was 3 years ago)

(Falco) subbuteo? Woodland edges and heathland. Last year we had a pair spotted regularly on a field/woodland boundary but I've not seen or heard any this year.

Making beer and wine and then drinking it.

+1

Imagine a hobby where it only costs you £10 a week to enjoy it.

Then imagine that hobby also gives a you more free beer than you can drink

🙂

That's so disappointing. I was envisaging you gathering the materials for mirkin weaving... 🙂

I could give that a go if the hobby eludes me. Don't think we have many mirkins around here either! 😆
