We were looking after our delightful grandchildren today. I was working from home and had a number of video conferences where I needed my office room to be quiet. Tommy, 5 years old, likes to be in my office during my calls and sits out of sight normally but today I had a very important, and possibly difficult, call so I didn't want him in the room.

I explained that I needed quiet and didn't want him to make any loud bangs while I was in the call so he should go downstairs.

He went down stairs and then, very quietly, came into my office during my call and passed me a piece of paper before leaving again silently.

As you can see, he did this at least 5 times over a 30 minute call.

A 5 year old obedient but rebellious genius!!!

Properly neat writing from one so young!

Excellent work on his part, looks like a clever sense of humour.
