In the desolate waste land that is Neuquen, there is very little on terms of things to do, bars, bike shops and humans outside of the town centre.
But walking back from work today I spotted this, a 1920's Ford Roadster!!

I'm fairly new to driving, but that looks like something I really want to drive! I'd have to wear a nice suit, with braces and shiny shoes.
Interesting tyre choice on a classic there!?
I wonder if it's being used for some classic trials driving or similar?
Would love to know the story behind that...
It was in immaculate condition, unlike most of the cars round here.

Yep, sure am in Neuquen, Argentina. The place is indeed a frontier town and a total dump, I wouldn't be envious if I were you.
The place is very dry and dusty, and miles from anywhere or anything useful. The big outdoors type area seems to be about 350km to the West, towards the Andes.

I think the first picture is a Ford 1934 5 window coupe, its got a flathead V8 motor.
That would be rodded to hell and back here or in the states.
Lovely looking car, got a very Waltons feel about it 🙂
