Perseid meteor shower tonight - a rare clear night here in Glasgow, I've just been out in the local park and saw three in half an hour.

1st one: "Was that a meteor?"
2nd one: "That was almost definitely a meteor."
3rd one: "That definitely was one this time, now I can go to bed."

😀

Had a quick look but far too many toerags leaving their lights on all night to get a good view of anything

All clear skies and warm night in Galloway so it's been pretty impressive so far

Saw two impressive ones.

Got our five year old up to watch (as instructed) but she was asleep again before number 3 showed up so took her back to bed. Maybe next time.

Saw one when I got up at 3am for a pee. I had the camera gear all looked out but just couldn't stay awake long enough to shoot them. Lazy git, should've gone for a bivi instead 😆

myself and some friends spent nearly 2 hours lying in a field in Staffordshire, what a sight! We saw around 30, with about 5 of those being particularly big with a green tail. 🙂
