What's good out there, then?
Something like a Rab Microlight, I think. Wind/shower proof if poss.
TIA.
Landsend might have something suitable. They're aimed more at general use, rather than "outdoor activities", but they certainly do longer lengths. Think "soccer moms" standing around getting cold!
They are expensive, but good quality, and if you sign up for emails, there's 40% off your first order at the moment.
Ta, will have a shufti.
Any more, anyone?
have a look at Marmot, Mountain Hardwear and Patagonia
Was going to suggest Lands End - being originally American, they used to do "stadium parkas" which I gathered were intended to be worn while watching American football in sub zero temperatures for hours on end
Rab and Patagonia used to sell well when I worked in retail. Not sure about Patagonia, but Rab have this which uses Nikwax hydrophobic down.
Aigle do some good ones.
