As computer support (sic) to the mil, I'm getting to the stage where I'm going to need a reliable way of logging into her computer remotely.
I'd rather not have to piss about with port forwarding and all that nonsense, so are there any set ups worth looking at?
It doesn't have to be free, just work easily!
If it matters, we're on BT and she's on talk talk. Her mac is running mountain lion iirc.

I use team viewer for this sorta thing. easy enough to setup, including running it as a background service on the other machine 😉
Chrome remote desktop
Works flawlessly between mac's , pc's etc
Only problem is the remote mac would need to be signed into your google account which isn't ideal
if you share bookmarks , browser history etc

I like the idea of the chrome option and I could create a dedicated google account for it.
I use teamviewer free version and chrome, both good.
