Dunno if you're taking bikes but The Yurt Farm in mid Wales is handy for Nant y Arian & Coed Trallwm. Coed Brenin is not too far.

Nice people & a peaceful location. 🙂

We stayed here. It is in the middle of nowhere. No electricity no plumbing.

Was heaven for a few days 🙂

We stayed at http://www.graigwen.co.uk/ in the 'summer'. We didn't use them, but they have two yurts and a hexagonal cabin thing.

It's like http://www.coldatnight.co.uk/ without the hipsters.

There's a few yurts at langdale-national-trust-campsite. We camped in the van but the yurts did look nice. Great location if like walking, good pub near by too.

Also stayed in the log cabins from /www.logcabinswales. Handy for CyB and not far from Snowdon. More like posher static caravans than idyllic log cabins but nice enough and pretty cheap.

£195 for two nights in a tipi at ecoretreats! I'm getting one to rent out in my back garden, free Wi-Fi too

We stayed here in May and it was fantastic. We were in one of the wooden Yurts and it was a little nippy at night probably a bit more than a tent possibly because of the size. Although it did have an electric oil heater so after the first night that helped a lot.
