We having a get together in May or June and I'm looking for somewhere to hold it. There will be 60 or so people, mixed group with kids. I was thinking maybe a nice campsite but it would be nice to have some space to hang out in like a barn. Could be anywhere South Westish England/South Wales. Any suggestions? Barns, fields, campsites that will be happy with a big group.
hmm bit of a big ask. there's the river dart country park outside ashburton which is great for the kids, close to a town and does have a large rec type room i think.
if you want something a little less public then there's a caravan come camping park at teigngrace between bovey tacey and newton abbot called [url= http://www.twelveoaksfarm.co.uk/ ]twelve oaks farm[/url]. i know the people they're very nice. as far as i remember it has a barn that you could use. can't remember if there's a bar on site or not. best have a look at their website. not as great a setting as rdcp but worth a look.

Mates hired out this whole place for their wedding, iirc its 3-4 grand depending on time of year for a three day weekend but divided by 60 people its not so bad. Really really great, masses of room, you'd sleep more than 60 there too.
