Don't know much about pesnions apart from the basic princpals, save for a rainy day when old and retired. Anyway I have about 5 yrs of pension from a previous employer and just started with a new job with the local government so will be starting a new plan with them.
Probably no straight forward answer to the question but should I transfer the previous pension to the local government pension plan? Anything I should be looking out for? Wise to put all the eggs in one basket? Any tips or advice re pensions from the STW massif?

(for what it is worth, I did not move my prior employers pension into a government scheme. The newer scheme (nuvos..) is no where near as good as the media will have you believe)
