Can confirm; course is super fast and harder than it looks on TV. That climb is hard to walk up!

102 of us on the street list for the "elite" (aka senior + u23) race. Including several pros who've been doing well in Europe this season.

God luck Tiim, been there a couple of times as pit crew, lots of off camber tight turns and the bank near the end, you need a real good kick and be able to do it each lap is going to fun! Huw done a great job planning the course.

Yeah big Elite field don't forget you got some of the "old" guys doing double header and racing again today and be mixing it in the top 10.

I'm getting my fix of mud by watching the 🇧🇪 CX nationals.

If I got it correct (Belgian speech) Sven was showing off a pair of shoes with a pair of nice CX studs in the front & a pair of screws screwed into the heel for traction in the silt / mud conditions. DIY hack as opposed to factory fit.

Unlucky for Turner with rolling a Tub.

Tiim, are you number 28? (only Tim I could see)

Pidcock is a cut above..... Not sure the rolled tub made a great difference to the result but would maybe have forced him to go even faster

Thanks for the support! That was a lesson in how good the pros are!

Pidock was doing 6.30s and won by about a quarter of a lap, I was just under 8 mins and on the limit the whole time.

90ish started, only 13 finished due to everyone else being pulled as they'd get lapped. Complete podium of U23s

Great fun and the most technical course I've done only 2 30s straights per lap when I could get any recovery, everything else was obstacle.
