Having bought a new phone a few weeks ago I decided to hunt around for protective cases and stuff for it. I stumbled on this and was blown away.

It looks like this is the next big thing since the likes of velcro.. goretex and.. well, there's not really much else to compare when things like this are about to make such a huge impact in so many ways for us in the future.

It costs something like $60 to get a phone protected but just think of the future of clothing for cycling and all the other needs in the outdoor world. Do we need goretex, event etc when these technologies pop up? Cant wait to see what all this gets into.

I'm not sure it's 'breathable' though is it, in the same way Goretex is [supposed to be]?

Anyway, I read about it a few weeks ago - amazing stuff & they're definitely onto a winner with it.

I've seen a few reports on this stuff which suggest that it's not quite there yet. Promising idea though.

For certain electrical goods to be 'liquipelled' in the factory is something to really look forward to. I have dried out my mp3 player for the 3rd time on tuesday eve before getting it to play again. It takes hours to do. If I put it in a bag,its a pain to use the functions with gloves on. I had the same problem with the phone trying to start and stop Cyclemeter app. It was in a bag but again,a bit tricky. Headphones can get saturated in the rain too so the remote on the lead to control the apps etc is another thing that could also be treated. I use £15 earphones on the bike but to have decent quality ones treated would be a bonus as I really want to splash out on something that sounds great during riding.
