Hi I've got a Linux mint laptop and I can't run iTunes to put music on my shuffle
I've been using gtkpod but when I've loaded music I can only skip one track at a time where as I used to be able when I had I tunes to skip entire albums and it even told me what the albums were.
Anyone know a Linux programme that would do the same. I don't want to uses a wine programme or dual boot or anything
I'm new to Linux too so any tips shout out thanks
Thanks
I don't have experience using itunes but if you're googling for solutions for mint then also try searching for solutions for ubuntu, as that's what mint is based off of and likely has more answers floating around. This has a few apps that might work.

You say no wine but you could try the following to use actual itunes. It's play-on-linux which is kind of like a friendlier wrapper over wine. Installation does need the CLI but, IMO, sooner or later you're gonna end up there for one reason or another in linux anyway.
