Hi All

We have a thirteen year old Labrador whose limp is getting increasing prenounced and reducing his walks to being in the garden.
I have heard good reviews about the Lintbells Yumove, your experiences please.

This is the same dog that left mud all over the back seat of Ians new L200 at Llandegla when i broke my scapula, 10 years ago!

We use it with Nelson, our 17 year old arthritic mongrel, recommended by a fellow vet nursing STWr . Could really see a difference when we started using it. I think we have the Yumove Advance which is designed for old codger dogs

I use it for Alfie, my 11 year old rescue Lab x rotti. He's had arthritis since he was 4. used Yumove for last couple of years. I think it definitely helps. But he's also now on metacam and i restrict the amount of running he does (for his own good - he forgets how much it hurts until after!)

Worth a try, we buy it from ebay as it's cheaper.

Word of warning - there is apparently quite a lot of fake stuff about though, so make sure you use a reputable supplier

We used it on our old Collie. We thought it made a difference but were not sure if it was a placebo so took him off it. He started limping worse than ever so we put him back on it.

Based on our own experience I recommend giving it a go.

I give my terrier this
http://www.ace-canine.com/flex_sprinkle.html

I tried her on Yumove but found the Flex to be more effective. They claim that it's more concentrated and therefore more effective and in my experience it seems to be. It's quite stinky too which I always think is a good thing!

My terrier used to hop every third stride or so and it's cut her hopping down by about 90%.

I think they'll send you a free trial so perhaps worth a go.
