I love it. Very original and mildly funny.Seems like the Norwegians are pretty good at taking the p out of themselves.
I saw the first episode. Thought it was ok, but couldn't help but think they'd had a cut n paste weekend with Northern exposure and the Sopranos.
The combination of language is certainly novel though!
was looking forward to it, but it seems very lame, The Night Shift an icelandic series shown earlier in the year was truly wicked.
Yeah I quite liked that. Also enjoyed the bits of inspector montalbano I've seen, even though I suspect it probably basically Bergerac.
Hats off to BBC4 for showing them all though.

Montalbano is a funny but also thoughtful effort, plenty of subtle stuff under the surface
