Standing in the east end of Glasgow, looking southish when the cloud cover is like tonight (light and med high), there is a light which lights the sky up, like a torch or lighthouse but not from that direction as the sea must be over 50miles away? going from left to right, right to left like a pendulum. Too regular to be aircraft, or cars going over a hill. very strange. explanation please!
"Searchlight" type affair on a public building block of flats? There's an arrangement like that outside a restaurant on the pier in Oban. There must be others.
