Right then, I feel this maybe a new low, but I'm asking STW for clothing advise.

I commute on the bike, it has panniers, and in said panniers I carry the days clothes. For various reasons, I can't leave any clothes at work and that includes shoes.

What I need is some shoes that don't weigh a lot and a jacket that is the same. The challenge, I work in financial services and so they have to be a certain level of smart, though thankfully not suits anymore. If I'm not on the bike it's chino's, brogues, shirt and a jacket in the summer or a wool coat in the winter. The brogues weigh a lot and the jacket weighs even more and also won't fold small. This means that at the moment, I feel I carry to much weight and to much bulk and, as I'm a weight weenie cyclist I need to change this.

Do your worst.

Sketchers shoes are often quite light. May not be "smart" enough for a bank though.
Or shoes you can cycle in AND wear in the office?

How far are you cycling? If you're currently on a drop bar road bike kind of thing, maybe a sit up style eBike would facilitate wearing the same clothes on and off the bike?

This is what I ride around town wearing normal clothes (up to 10 miles a day):

Was only £900 new so not horrendously expensive

Commute is 15 miles and hilly, won't be doing it in normal clothes.
Sketchers are not in any way smart enough. Think posh, investment managers and hedge funds, not high street bank.
Edit, and "buy a new bike" is not really an option.

Ecco sell shoes that look like smart shoes but are very light. I'd say they are at least smart enough to wear with chinos.

I would look at Rohan stuff, I had some of there shirts/troosers when commuting.

Don't wrinkle too easily and lightweight. I have a couple of shirts that are at least a decade old.

Timberland oxfords are quite lightweight and smart enough for business casual.

Jacket/blazer, I don't bother with, but you would probably be better off with something half/unlined.

I have an eagle creek garment folder that keeps the creases off.

Get rid of the wool coat I use a light waterproof but relatively smart coat and use a uniqlo gilet or puffer jacket which folds up small underneath for extra warmth

Loafers, moccasins or driving shoes should be lighter than brogues.

Look at light weight travel suits

Driving shoes?
I normally just use whatever shoes I'm wearing when I get in the car. Have I been doing it wrong?

Do they make the pedals come alive?

@rugbydick are you seriously telling me that you don't have SPDs on you car pedals?

I actually think it's pretty appalling that you don't have anywhere to leave your clothes at work. Employers should encourage their staff to cycle to work, for their mental and physical health, especially if they are inactive all day. Oh yeah, there is also that climate thing.

Have a look at Rohan for clothes that travel well (lighter, more crease free)

Shoes are going to be a problem, I can't think of many shoes that are light and look smart, not in real life anyway. Either stash them somewhere or carry them in and out every day. I've worked in some very fancy corporate places and there's often somewhere you can stash your shoes (filing cabinet, drawers, cleaners cupboard, reception). Check with the PAs, they usually know the deal. Unless of course you're not in the same location each day

i often brompton to work and with a laptop do not like to overload the bag so instead of jeans/heavier clothing i take a merino T, and rapha long sleeve summer shirts which can be rolled up and do not crease.

https://www.sportpursuit.com/catalog/product/view/id/1301941

if i need a jacket then then i have a lightweight seersucker jacket that folds without creasing and takes up 1/3 of the space of heavier cotton.

trousers i just take some kind of lightweight chino but never jeans as they are heavy and bulky.

if its cold i have a rabbles microlight to wear over the top.

What about some of the SPD shoes that the likes of Dromati or R.E.W Reynolds do? Would they be suitable for both the ride and while at work?
Or go old school with top clips and straps on the bike?

that should be Rab not Rabbles

a lot of the high st shops do smart jackets in lightweight materials that while not saville row quality are smart looking. like Market or Uniqlo. dont some of the big brands like Boss do travel suits/jackets/trousers?
