That would have been a good analogy if Breaking Bad had peaked in its 3rd season then flailed its way into pointlessness over the final 2, with Heisenberg only making the occasional guest appearance towards the end. And if a tedious dick who had nothing to do with the plot kept turning up and wandering round the set shouting repetitively.
