How much lying would you put up with in a relationship?

Depends what the lie was.

More than how much did that cost?
Less than and then he tripped over at the exact moment I was picking up my bag and *** * * ***.
However "No dear you look great in that dress" is to be expected - frankly you need to give us something more to go on.

Saying he's somewhere and infact he's not. He's potential with a lass, he may have been having an affair with.
It's all been very much " if I don't talk I'm not lying"

you can always setup anti theft on his phone and activate by email revealing the location and taking a picture.... then trust would really be gone both ways.

None. Zero lies. That said, I have occasionally lied to my wife about the amount of alcohol consumed my me and my mates. But the important stuff is sacrosanct.

None. Zero lies.

yea right.

"did you mum say anything about me"
"does my bum look big in this"
"have you ever thought about someone else during sex"
"Did you enjoy that meal I spent hours preparing"

Little white harmless fibs to protect her feelings are mandatory.

"where have you been?"

"well, I stopped off at the pub after work. Got talking to a lass there, one thing led to another, and we ended up back at her place having wild sex."

"Don't lie, you've been out on the bike again haven't you?"

--

I'd be tempted to confront him with it. Either he's lying or you're worrying unduly, hard to say which. Either way though, rightly or wrongly you don't trust him, which is a problem.

Something like "look, I'm not accusing you of anything, but your behaviour looks suspicious. Could you put my mind at rest?"

Good luck.
