I wasn't aware he was ill.
I've just announced this to my team and they all said 'who?'

67 - 😯 hadn't realised he was that old
Blimey was the Professionals only on for 4 years?
Can I have his Capri 3.0S please.
Handbrake turn to heaven RIP
Did he do anything else?
He's so far off the radar that it hasn't even made the 12 o'clock new on the Radio!
Did he do anything else?
Only the epic of 80's cinema "Who Dares Wins"!
🙁
I wonder if the hearse drive through a massive stack of cardboard boxes on the way to the funeral?
RIP
I am genuinely saddened by this. RIP 3.7.
from wiki
He subsequently applied to join the Territorial SAS, a unit open to part-time reservists but was rejected because of his fame, despite passing the entrance tests.[4]
Fair do's. He must of been pretty hard in reality.
All I had to do as a kid was hear the music and I'd be running around the house bouncing off the walls and rolling across the floor.
We made our own entertainment in those days.
RIP Bodie
Great fun at the time, don't think I'll bother with the repeats though. Some things are best left as a memory
He had an amazing life - really start here - it does make interesting reading if you are into life stories
for example :
"In August 1962, Pete Best, the Beatles' drummer, was dismissed from the group and Mike suggested to Lewis that he audition for the vacancy, thinking he would have a good chance of success. But Lewis had ambitions in hairdressing, even at one point envisaging owning his own chain of salons,2 and turned down the opportunity - after all, he was earning a steady wage which would increase when he finished his apprenticeship. Compared with the uncertainties of the pop world, it seemed like the right decision."

It's Bodie...not Brodie.
Really enjoyed the Professionals as a young lad and the recent repeats. Back in the early '80s I wanted to be Bodie so badly - then again I was only 6/7 years old!
A handsome tv star if ever there was.
He used to own a nightclub back in the mid eighties, the orchard country club in hazelmere bucks,
We used to go there when we teenagers and sometimes you would see him later in the evening.
Shame.
Sad, part of my childhood gone. Only had to hear the theme tune and i'd be rolling into cover behind the settee before emptying an imaginary clip into my parents.
