Last night I had to stop for an old bulldog that was simply chilling out in the middle of the path.

But you had to stop, so it was obviously out of control........

I like to nip past dogs and disappear sharpish. On one occasion when a dog gave chase, snapping at my ankle, the owner said 'you were going too fast'. How am I expected to know all the personal preferences of dogs off the lead? Meatheads

Question for dog owners.

On the Ridgeway, near where I live, the new exciting (and definitely getting more common) dog owner  thing is leaving your poo bag in very visible view on the main track so that they can pick it up on the way back (I know this after challenging someone who left a bag).

anyway the question is, if i was to leave a scrap fridge (or similar) on your garden for a while , would it be ok as long as I picked it up on the way back ? 🙂

Do you often carry a fridge with you on a ride?

All dog owners are obviously united and act as one.

So obviously it's perfectly acceptable to leave shit in bags for any amount of time i or any other dog owner sees fit.

Is that the answer you were hoping for?

we are all into cycling and the outdoors and probably above average intelligence

Um. How did you arrive at that conclusion? I'd say the jury's out given the evidence

So how often does he have to get bitten before he’s allowed to express an opinion? He’s the victim here not dog owners.

I didn't say he wasn't allowed to express an opinion. You've plucked that nonsense from the same  place he got all dogs and owners were savages and scum. Try reading a post before replying to it.

He is the victim and that was never questioned was it. Again, try reading.

Just the bag, or the whole kit?

Hopefully I've not misread your post.

Bloody cyclists.

Sorry wrong forum. I'm a pedestrian, cyclist, owner of a dog and a car.

Who should I vote for?

You should probably address this on one of the van life / T5 threads.

I'm amazed they manage to hold a poo in for an entire long weekend. Then again I've never seen a someone working outside IR35  take a dump when not on the clock so give the number of IT contractors on here maybe it's not a surprise after all.

[for the avoidance of doubt people leaving turds on the path / laybys are disgusting]

Do you ever post anything positive? Literally your entire output on this forum is having a pop at people. Have you considered Pistonheads instead?

Is it snowing up there? Why are you so bothered? Is it a forum requirement? I must've missed that when you handed out the rules that only exist in your head. Have you considered just not reading or responding to posts you don't like? Ground breaking stuff I know.

Now sush, adults are talking.

Now sush, adults are talking.

Is that to sush; i.e. gorging on sushi?

Or did you mean shush?

We need clarity otherwise your pithy epithet loses its impact
