I wouldn't put it on myself but I have no problem with Mrs Pondo watching America's Next Top Model.

The Face, on the other hand, can do one.

First Dates.

It's actually really good so dunno if it could be classed as a GP.

NCIS. Great fun spotting David McCallum sneaking The Man From UNCLE references into the script.

Come Dine with Me. I have no idea why. I hate myself after watching. I guess the sarcastic narrator is quite funny.

Salvage Hunters.

Edit : Though I wouldn't pay a single penny for what he sells.

River Monsters - total shit

Why?

Cooking shows for me

River Monsters is ace. Jeremy investigates reports of things that rip your arm off then lands the prime suspect - a two-foot catfish. But then again, I quite liked Robson Green's Extreme Fishing.

Ooh. Another one.

Mantracker! The older version with the tracker who says 'Bugger' a lot, because yanks don't realise it's a curse word.

I've been known to sit through Extreme Couponing.
River Monsters is too good to be a guilty pleasure.

Count's Customs
Man vs Food
Spongebob Squarepants
Renegade ("He was a cop... and good at his job. But he testified against other cops gone bad...")

EDIT - Duck Dynasty

Ooh yeah Man V Food, good call

I hate sitting in front of the TV watching shite, for example Eastenders, Holby etc, the sort of stuff Mrs Wilko likes. But I'll happily sit and watch other shite, such as Dinner Date etc. Ooh, and the shopping channels - the infomercials are fascinatingly bad

Very true. Man Vs Food is too, if you treat it as more of a travelogue than a eating competition.

River monsters is absolutely dismal, the same thing every time including the psychological torment and journeys of self discovery Jezza departs on in every show.

But it is also awesome.

If I get time at the weekend "4 In A Bed" on More4
Where they do all 4 B&B visit shows back to back, mainly as you get some proper odd ball personality traits that seem to crop up where people are utterly blind to their own faults

Geordie Shore - Crap but hilarious if you don't take it seriously.
How it's made - Dull, boring TV but oddly soothing.
Old cooking shows - Early Naked Chef, Floyd, anything really, again, I just find them very soothing.

Man v's Food I love but feel no guilt in doing so!

Like sad gits we pick who we think will win & watch as a family each week

We definitely do not have an ongoing competition where a point is scored for correctly picking garment of the week and who's being eliminated, the points totted up at the end of the series and the loser making breakfast in bed for the winner. Definitely not.

+1
Back when we had a TV I used to enjoy similar programs like Really, Really Big Ships And How They Get Them Loaded Up or whatever.

Also not-quite-good-enough Sci-Fi like Stargate.

Fast n' Loud
Wheeler Dealers.
Gun Rush, although I feel no guilt about this whatsoever, it's brillaint.
The Big Bang Theory and Brooklyn 99.

Big Bang Theory - actually, nothing to be guilty about there.
Gogglebox - there, I've said it!
Pretty much any Police/motoring/mechanical/engineering nonsense on Quest/Living/History type channels

When I was off sick for 4 months earlier this year I used to catch the last 15 minutes of Bargain Hunt every day as I sat down to have lunch. Eventually the medication kicked in and I was able to wean myself off it and go back to work.

We watched Take Me Out for months before we suddenly came to the realisation that we only had it on because I thought my OH wanted to watch it, and she thought I wanted to watch it...!

You know those "Traffic Cops" programmes? Why are they so easy to zone out to. If I find one on a channel I can sit there for ages just watching Cops v Chavs. It's such a waste of time!

There's nothing wrong at all with How It's Made. It's brilliant! It's fascinating finding out how things are made, most of the time it's the mundane stuff like tights or buttons or pencils where you learn something new about how they make them.
