I mean..we all have problems..
For some it's money, food, and shelter. For others it's slightly more benign.. but we all have problems.
Use this space as an arena to vent your [clearly] first world issues - no judgement, no replies - simply......type....and.....relax.......
I'll go first:
My new bean to cup coffee machine needs the water reservoir refilling at an almost inconvenient rate. I wish it wouldn't clean itself out so frequently..

My bike is languishing in a bag after a 10 day trip to Iceland and I can't be arsed to rebuild it.
Why can't my cats throw up OUTSIDE the house...
it rained a bit and now I CBA to ride to go swimming
Today I went over the bars.. AGAIN.. on my two week mountain biking holiday in the Alps.
*sigh*
I fancy having a bit of a twang on my bass guitar right now.
...but it's in the extension and I'm not and I can't be arsed to get up off the sofa. Why won't anyone bring it to me?
My mpg for the last tank of fuel dropped from 68mpg for the previous, to 58.
I've become a hooligan; please pass the Rosary.
I paid off some of the capital on my mortgage and it didn't show up in my banking app after 2 days - I *needed* to see a balance reduced by a few thousand euros _immediately_.
I'm at work on a stupidly slow internet connection and cannot stream from www.themoth.org, or listen to the TED radio hour, not even Lake Wobegon...
Tch...
The canteen at work served up three types of curry (Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Korma and Beef Madras, if you're interested) and then ruined it all by deciding that spring rolls with sweet chilli sauce would be the perfect side dish. I'm all for a bit of "fusion cuisine", but that's taking the piss. Bloody Philistines.
I don't know which of my bikes is best.
There's some dust buildup lodged in a joint on the centre console of my car which needs hoovering, it bothers me but not enough to carry the hoover outside.
Which Vehicle to use on my Afternoon off work.
Because my router died I have to make do with only 74meg Internet instead of my usual 150ish for a day or so - this resulted in me having to wait a second or so longer to get a bit of information I needed from OneDrive - I actually tutted. Oh how they'll weep for me in the camps of Calais tonight!
There's some dust buildup lodged in a joint on the centre console of my car which needs hoovering, it bothers me but not enough to carry the hoover outside.
I also have this major problem however, yesterday I went fishing off Seaham South pier (cos there's 2) & for the 1st time there caught NAFF ALL!!
Really really annoyed/puzzled.
my fingers are sore after building a wheel, cheap cider and wine are playing havoc with my dieting. But managed the wheel build without breaking a nail!
I set my varmin watch to average pace and it ruined my training run for the amsterdam marathon.
There aren't enough letters allowed in strava to communicate this technical difficulties to my followers.
I got so frustrated with the Apple TV remote and logging into to my Netflix account following a password change I downloaded the controller app on to my iPhone (which needs updating to 8.4 incidentally)
The hot tub at my holiday apartment isn't quite hot enough but the weather is too hot and the trails are too dusty.
My shiny new frame and Bos suspension is taking slightly longer than expected to turn up, I'm also worried my wheels will clash with said frame.
My bike is covered in crappy high5 gel from Sunday's London 100 bike ride......it needs cleaning ....but my legs don't work properly and I can't be arsed
I cannot turn back the clock.
Should I take the pork shoulder out of the bottom oven of the Aga tonight or leave it in until tomorrow? (It's been in there since last night)
CaptainFlashheart - MemberShould I take the pork shoulder out of the bottom oven of the Aga tonight or leave it in until tomorrow? (It's been in there since last night)
If it has already been marinated then let it be otherwise take it out tonight to marinate.
I think my first world problems would bridge the admittedly small gap in this thread between satire and downright bragging. :p
Wallop - are you out in Morzine? Greetings if so, am too. Hope you haven't beaten yourself up too much.
I'm struggling to find a hotel with a reasonable rate at the Iguassu falls.
I want to buy a whole new bike which has exactly the same frame as mine just so I can change the colour of my frame which I love, I just the love the other colour more.
I still can't decide where to go on a 2 week ski holiday, Lech or Zermatt!! Maybe Canada...
We bent one race car last weekend and don't know which of the other two to use next weekend? Many of my mountain bikes have little niggles the one that doesn't is too nice to ride in the dirt.
I've got a meeting at work tomorrow in which I need to take notes on my iPad but I want to ride the long way to work tomorrow which I prefer to do without a bag. This happens reasonably regularly and so I'm debating buying a cheap tablet to leave at work.
I had a new juicer delivered at work but it is too heavy to carry home.
When my neighbour opposite chooses to park in the road instead of his drive it inconveniences me a little as I have to add another back & forward to the turn so I can reverse into my drive.
If I go ahead and have this bloody great 2 story extension built on the front of my house I won't be able to fit our 2 cars, van and caravan on the front any more. Big house, small plot bah!
My battery is about to die... Can't decide whether to plug in now, or risk the wait until bed time.
I can't decide between the M Sport spec in estoril blue or save 2.5k and go for the SE spec in Mineral Grey with the more sensible 17" wheels 😕
I realised only after starting cooking tonight that I was out of rice wine vinegar. I had to use white wine vinegar instead. Oh the shame!
My Merc needs upwards of five grand spent on it not one...
Every Orange Five on Ebay or Pink bike worth any real look at is a Medium, Midgets ! Midgets everywhere
My large garden seems to take a lot of effort to keep tidy.
I'm working on a movie and for some stupid reason or other (probably the script or something) the producers have decided we have to make it on the wrong side of scotland.
Oxford is as expensive as central London and the pay is lower.
I've run out of rapeseed oil.
The canteen at work served up three types of curry (Lamb Rogan Josh, Chicken Korma and Beef Madras, if you're interested)
"Hi, I'm vegetarian."
Hi, I'm vegetarian.
"There's rice, and a salad bar. And chicken noodle soup. That's kind of vegetarian."
It's not really the sort of canteen that caters to all tastes.
I'm one flight off the next FF Tier which means on Sunday night I have to slum it in the pleb lounge in Abu Dhabi rather than the nice one (which I should get on the way back)
Also there may be snow at the top of the Whole Enchalada in Moab when I get there in October - and I need to try and get Rampage tickets while I fly to the UK.
There's some dust buildup lodged in a joint on the centre console of my car which needs hoovering, it bothers me but not enough to carry the hoover outside.
Just smoke the bleeding thing and be done with it.
🙄
Wallop - are you out in Morzine? Greetings if so, am too. Hope you haven't beaten yourself up too much.
We are in Les Arcs, but greetings anyway - hope you're having a nice summer!
Scruff - 😆
fairtrade biodegradable organic washing up liquid is rubbish at blowing bubbles.
I've just bought a new laptop- it came with a faulty screen, so I purchased a replacement refurbished one, with a slightly faster processor.
The trouble is that the geekbench score for the 'faster' replacement is about 10% down on the average for the model- and actually about the same as the original laptop.
Should I send this one back as well?
If I'd waited 3 more weeks before ordering my new car it would have come with Sat Nav, Keyless entry and heated seats as standard. I'm not sure I can carry on which is made worse by the fact I won't be driving it until Friday. Nearly one week after I took delivery because I'm at work.
the free coffee mug gift from rose bikes cracked as soon I put hot coffee in it and i had to decant it into another cup. I feel violated.
There's so much genuine pain on this thread I hardly feel its worth mentioning that the sun (that is coming up over the mountain opposite my holiday apartment in the Alps) is just a bit too bright and I can't reach my sunglasses without leaving my pain au chocolate.
My internet was down for most of yesterday
First time in over a decade, what dire service
Dr P - no judgement but I read your post with an expression of haughty disdain.......
This morning I awoke to the holy trinity of bean to cup machine first world problems - refill beans, refill water and empty grounds before I could get a coffee.
I'm not certain but I think I'll call a helpline or something for support. Or look for a self help group. Obviously, I won't set one up if it doesn't exist - too much effort.
The Luxardo maraschino cherries I use in my old fashioned cocktails are £14 a jar from the drinks shop near work.
I can get them for £7 but it means a tube ride across London. 🙁
I could do with a poo but I can't be bothered to get off my backside to go and sit down.
Well, I hope you're all pleased with yourselves - with so much pain and suffering in the world I can hardly summon the motivation to turn off the alarm on my smartphone.
I put the bins out thinking it was thursday
FFS... "Change water filter".
I feel like a slave to this ruddy machine....

My third laptop (I have one for work, one for gaming and one for lazy websurfing) is taking a long time to upgrade to Windows 10.
I can't decide whether to take Euro's or Kuna to Croatia in 3 weeks time 😕
My espresso machine stopped working at 15:00 on Saturday, the possibility of having to do without my morning shot of Riposo made me cancel on a meal out with my friends to strip, clean, service and repair it.

The inside of a regularly de-scaled Gaggia Classic in the Southwest with it's stupid HARD water...
Holiday related one from me:
Early October, Lakes (UK) or Lugano (SW) ?
What's swinging it is Lugano is closer to the Tour of Lombardia route but it's a long way to drive.
😐
The other day the supermarket only had two of the three varieties of mushrooms my recipe required!!
I live on an island with a choice of ports all the way around the coast, yet a kerfuffle in Calais means the national haulage industry is gridlocked down in Kent.
It's a proper ball ache finding a holiday home that suits our lifestyle in Wales. 🙄
I bought some muffins butter & Marmite on my way into work.
When I got to work I had to find a small plastic pot to decant the marmite into as we are not allowed glass containers on site 🙁
We got sent a happy Sysadmin Day cake by the makers of our new call logging software only got it today as the manager it was addressed to was away Sysadmin Day was Friday. 🙁
I ran out of teabags just now, so had to have fresh ground coffee instead. Which meant I had to have some biscuits too.
A terrible state of affairs.
I'm supposed to get dashi powder for dinner tonight but the asian supermarket over the road's run out so I'll have to go to the one a bit further away.
I can't get the "car configure" to load properly on the Mercedes Benz website from the edge of the pool at our Trullo in southern Italy ! Damn you internet. I'm so bored lying around in the sun...
Evidently I can purchase a house. But I can't make it into a home.
I am lost.
I can't afford a Lexus Hover Board ,or the park to go with it 🙁
I used brown sugar in last night's stir fry because I'd run out of palm sugar. For shame!
I had to send my faulty dropper post back to Merlin and pay postage for the return. They may have returned a brand new post, ready to be fitted, but I have to fit it. It is like a double insult.
Do you think this is newsworthy enough for Jeremy Vine?
Those bloody foxes are STILL digging up our lawn.
I've been invited to a BBQ but am unsure how to pronounce 'wagyu'. I can't go, I just can't.
WAG-yoo

My robot vacuum cleaner got tangled up in toilet paper and created more mess than it cleaned.
