Looking to spectate at the WC Downhill in Lets Gets this August - has anyone any tips for this. We would be looking to have a wander around the pits area also - as I understand it the pits are just in the village and anyone can access them without tickets, likewise watching on the track you just walk/climb up to where ever you want to view ?
Do you need to buy/ can you buy lift tickets ?
We only have experience of being at the Fort William DH - is it as worthwhile to visit as this ?

If you’re not staying in les gets get over as early as possible. It was gridlock the whole road to morzine year I went from about 10am.
