Heading to Les gets, morzine area in July for two weeks with partner, first time we've been so just after campsite recommendations.Ideally wanting somewhere we could pre book, within 30 minutes ride of bike lifts, shops restaurants, decent views, and would be great if some sport climbing was within walking or riding distance.Cheers in advance 👍

I’ve never camped in Les Gets so I can’t help there, but check the price of a self catered apartment on the Les Gets website (you pay by card on thE website so low (no) risk).

They get silly cheap in the summer - possibly cheaper than camping if you get lucky on price / location.

There's only one campsite in Les Gets that I know of. It's a nice spot half way up a mountain on the edge of town but it's an absolute pain in the gooch to get back to after a day's riding and it'll put you off having a stroll into town on an evening. Unless you're willing to drive up and down all the time that is.

As above, self catering apartments are dirt cheap. My mate used to book them so I'm not sure what to recommend but we've stayed in a bunch of decent 1 or 2 bed studios with proper kitchens and bathrooms etc. Definitely consider that option.

Not Les Gets, but just over the mountain at Chatel is this campsite, which we've booked for the summer.

We've never stayed before, but it looks pretty nice.
