Have you got the digital wireless remotes with the separate motor/battery pack?

They're very good. My old stuff got rejuvenated by my mum for our boys (and soon my sister's kids too) with some of them. Retro fit into stuff from the 80s really easily.

That looks great. My folks have still got the Danish liveried passenger trains and some stuff that's even older were there was a battery wagon where the on off switch was on the side and no speed control.

Kids today don't know how luck they are.

Ours are onto Hornby now which is a whole other level of expense and complication!

It's good, but it's no 6990 Space Monorail

Don't tell The Bike Industry, they'll have a fit.

We started with Hornby, but the controller was duff so it went back.

Got bought the high-speed train for Christmas by my daughter. Have now added another set and loads of track. We have great fun playing with it together. I wish track was cheaper though and it was easier to buy straights. I've lucky in a few ebay auctions to increase the amount we have. Woukd love the set above and the big steam train they did a few years ago.

There's a whole subset of people who build lego model railways, mental, but really cool!

Yeap that's the steam train. So expensive. I've got the loan ranger train that has the wheels so hoping to be able to collect the rest of the bits make one similar.
